What is Ashtanga Yoga?

Similar to Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga synchronises each movement with a breath. However, with Ashtanga Yoga the sequences are performed with the exact same poses yin the exact same order.

A practice will consist of four parts: Opening series, a main series, a back-bending sequence and a finishing sequence.

Ashtanga Yoga is great for those who like a challenging and highly structured practice.
The poses are done in a constant flow and at your own pace.
